Through his first three games as Carmel's starting quarterback, sophomore Connor Marden is 45-of-60 for 613 yards and nine touchdowns passes, with no interceptions.
Through Devin Pearson's first three games of his sophomore year for the Padres, he was 40-of-53 for 511 yards and two touchdowns, with three picks.
Pearson, now a freshman outfielder at Cal, did have four rushing touchdowns through three games. Marden has 88 rushing yards.
