Alisal (3-0) at Aptos (1-2), Friday, 7:30 p.m.
Head coach Sunil Smith called last week's first road game for Alisal a business trip. And the Trojans treated it like one, blowing out Del Mar 44-0.
This week is about redemption for Alisal, who gave up 522 rushing yards to Aptos - including 272 to one player on just 10 carries - in last year's 43-29 loss.
After scoring just 25 points in its first two games, Aptos erupted for 50 last week in notching its first win of the season.
Three running backs rushed for over 90 yards, including Joey Aliotti, who piled up 114 yards on just 10 carries.
Alisal has never started a season 4-0 since the programs inception 40 plus years ago. The last time it opened 3-0 in 2006, it went to the postseason.
Ricardo Muniz has rushed for over 100 yards in three straight games for Alisal. The defense has not allowed a point in the first quarter, and just one touchdown in the first half.

not so fast my friend! the 1994/95 alisal team went 6-0 then hit a brick wall losing to aptos, palma, pg, and rls.
