Stephen Ventimilia

The Herald's Baseball Player of the Year in 2011 took over the team lead in hitting at the University of Hawaii, raising his batting average 20 points to .325.
 Ventimilia leads the Rainbows in runs scored (33), hits (52), walks (32) and stolen bases (12). The freshmen second baseman sports a .966 fielding percentage.
 Ventimilia, a Monterey grad, has an eight-game hitting streak and has reached base in 40 of the teams 43 games, having had at least one hit in 37 games.
