 I wouldn't bet against the Pirates for one game, particularly with Tucker Forbes on the mound.
 The 6-foot-8 hurler didn't allow his first earned run of the year until he had thrown 35 plus innings.
 All three of Forbes' losses this year were by one run.
 San Lorenzo Valley stumbled down the stretch, losing four of its last five. It did beat Stevenson 7-6 in the Salinas Easter Classic three weeks ago.
 Fifteen of Nick Halamadaris' 30 hits this year went for extra bases for Stevenson.
