Softball madness

The mood in the stands doesn't fit the success on the field for at least three softball programs having playoff type seasons.
Why?
Well, if you talk to the coaches, it's the same old story.
A couple of parents over stepping their boundaries, whining about their kid’s lack of playing time.
However, now it's becoming somewhat disruptive.
As a parent, you can't show up at practice and glare at the coach for 90 minutes.
You're embarrassing your kid and becoming a distraction to the team. If your kid can handle it with a smile, why can't you?

My senior plays right field when it's available, but her freshman sister is a pitcher for the North Salinas Vikings! If there were a reason to complain she would have one! This season she has been a rabbit for the catcher & her sister the freshman pitcher! Has she complained....oh no she is part of a team and this season a pretty good one! So to all you parents who wanna complain....take a look at yourself and shut up!! These kids need our support not nagging of their coaches!!

You go Julie...I have to admit your freshman daughter has skills. For the parents...you need to stop living through your kids...support your student athletes and encourage them to improve their skills by hard work on their free time.
