After rattling off 11 straight wins, Salinas was just 4-3 down the stretch. However, the three losses were by a combined five runs.
 Salinas, who hosts Piedmont Hills today, put on a power display in its regular season finale with three bombs against playoff bound Carmel.
 Justine Armento has tamed opponents all season. If the bats, anchored by Marisa Bravo and Amanda Laughlin, continue to drive the ball, this will be a memorable postseason experience.
