North Salinas softball

Doubling its win total from last spring has vaulted North Salinas back into the playoffs after a three-year absence.
 The reward is a meeting today with WCAL power St. Francis on the road.
 Not ideal.
 But the playoffs are a bonus, particularly for all-leaguer Danielle Nieto, who has endured three years of growing pains at North Salinas.
 Don't discount North Salinas today. It has four wins against teams in the postseason this year
