I will never understand the CCS playoff pairings in some sports.
Monterey got the No. 7 seed in Division II, yet has to go on the road to face No. 10 Prospect tonight at 7 p.m. in the first round of the volleyball playoffs.
Prospect gets a home match because it won a league title.
Good for them.
So why even seed them?
Beyond the top four seeds, who are assured a bye and home match, it doesn't matter.
