The Hartnell College sophomore first baseman lived up to his preseason All-American billing, earning Junior College All-American honors, as voted by the JC Baseball Coaches Association.
Flores ripped eight home runs for the Panthers this past spring, driving in 34 runs while hitting .330. The 6-foot-5, 230-pounder also scored 33 runs, walked 19 times and stole 11 bases.
Flores, a King City graduate, has worked out for a handful of Major League Baseball teams. The draft is June 4-6.
