Much like boys volleyball, lacrosse has an end of the season tournament.
Except the tournament doesn't have any barring on the season or the title.
So what is the real purpose other than getting in a couple more games?

In volleyball, the winner of the TCAL tournament wins the league title among the two divisions.
Here's a better thought.
Combine your tournament with teams from the Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League.
With no postseason for lacrosse in the CCS, make it a tournament with a prize.
