All of a sudden a game with no title implications has significant meaning.
The Pirates have climbed back into a tie for second in the MTAL and hold the tiebreaker edge over Pacific Grove for the automatic spot.
 Technically, King City and Soledad are still in the hunt for third in the MTAL.
 Why is that significant?
 Because the third place team in the MTAL plays the CAL champion (Trinity) for a CCS playoff spot.
 King City has the most difficult task, closing with Stevenson, Pacific Grove and Soledad. I still think four teams from the MTAL could sneak into the Division III playoffs.
