Francisco Salvador

The Alisal distance ace is going to run both the 800 and 1,600 at this week's Central Coast Section track and field trials at Gilroy.
 And why not?
He's not in any jeopardy of not reaching the CCS finals in either event.
However, the senior will have a decision to make for the finals.
The 800 may be the better event to reach the state meet after Salvador clocked a TCAL record 1:56.62 without being seriously pushed, vaulting him to fifth in the CCS.
It was thought the 1,600 was his best event. And it still might be in terms of dropping more time. But Salvador is ranked seventh, four seconds from being in the top three.
I think Salvador is capable of running a sub 1:55.00 in the 800. Will that get him to state?
