The Herald's 2011 Baseball Player of the Year, Ventimilia continues his impressive start to his college baseball career at the University of Hawaii.
The left-handed hitting Ventimilia leads the Rainbows (21-15) in starts (36), walks (30), runs scored (29) and stolen bases (9).
Ventimilia, who lettered in seven sports at Monterey, is hitting .305 and is second on the Rainbows in hits (39), while sporting a .970 fielding percentage at second base.
