While it's just a tournament game, the Cowboys (10-5) and San Lorenzo Valley (8-2) both have title aspirations in their respective leagues -- sitting just one game out at the Easter Break.
This is the second time in the last three weeks that Salinas has gone seven days between games. Five of its last seven games have been decided by two runs or less.
The Cougars had rattled off seven straight wins before falling 3-2 to SCCAL leader Harbor. Both of SLV's losses have been by one run.
