One football coaches feelings on two peers stepping down

Here's one current football coaches perspective in Monterey County on why high school football coaches are walking away.
You get burned out doing everything. There is little to zero administrative support. You get back stabbed by everyone on campus.
You have to fund raise, coach football, teach classes, be an academic advisor, be a father to most kids, be the athletic trainer, and protect yourself from parents.
Then a million fingers get pointed at you. Language, too hard on the kids, too much work, don't play seniors. What sane person would ever want this job?
The rules are set up for kids to fail. It's not the system or teachers. It's the law.
If I complain, get depressed or ask for help, I get a 45 minute lecture.
The only reason I'm still coaching is because I love the kids. Sports taught me to never quit.
