What took so long for King City's administration to name Mac Villanueva the head football coach?
And why would you slap an interim tag on him?
There was no more logical choice than Villanueva, a former King City running back, who has been the offensive coordinator for the last two years.
Villanueva is also the school's athletic director.
You have a football coach that WANTS to be in King City -- a good coach as well.
It's a great move.
It just should have been made sooner.
