The King City track standout has always elminated the 300 low hurdles from her resume at the end of the spring to focus on the 100 hurdles and high jump.
Not this year.
The junior is now the favorite to win the Central Coast Section 300 low hurdles title after dropping nearly three seconds in winning Friday's Classic Top 8 in 44.92 seconds.
Not only did Davis shatter the King City school record, but she ran the third fastest time in Monterey County history behind Carmel's Thea Lee (43.86) and Stevenson's Kelli Okuji (44.52).
Both of them won CCS titles.
