The Otters control their fate as they can grab no worse than a share of the California Collegiate Athletic Association title after moving into a tie with Cal State Dominguez Hills at 25-7.
 CSUMB used a run-scoring double from Nina Villanueva to break up a 5-5 tie in the second game of a doubleheader on Friday to sweep UC San Diego, improving to 40-10 overall.
 Villanueva needs two runs batted in to break the CCAA record of 69.
 The two teams close the regular season today in La Jolla
