With Thursday's rain out, Carmel will now play three games in four days against three playoff caliber teams, starting today against Soledad.
The defending MTAL champion Padres, who are locked in a tie at the top with Pacific Grove, will face the Breakers on Saturday and King City on Monday.
The good news is all three games are at home for Carmel ( 9-1 at home this year).
But with no cream puffs on the schedule, the Padres will need more than two reliable arms to get them through this stretch.
