Peyton Manning

Peyton Manning publicly said he preferred to stay in the AFC.
Something about his brother Eli playing in the NFC.
Whatever.
Because if he really wanted to win a Super Bowl, he would have picked the 49ers.
Then again, maybe the pressure and expectations that would've come had he signed with the 49ers would have been too much.
 Lets face it, if Manning had become a Niner, anything but a Super Bowl this coming season would have been looked upon as failure.
 Manning will get a year or two to turn Denver into a Super Bowl team.
 But five years and $95 million? I wouldn't have put up that kind of coin for a player one hit away from his career being over.
