Conyal Cody made his debut on Friday and looked in mid-season form, striking out 14 in a five-hit, 1-0 win over Soledad.
Prior to Cody's arrival, the Breakers had rattled off four straight Mission Trail Athletic League wins. But the left-hander enhances an improving rotation -- giving them an true ace.
And when Cody is not pitching, the junior will provide another bat in the lineup.
