And he can.
What do the 49ers have to fall back on. If they're not going to make a pitch for Manning, what's out there?
But as a 49ers fan, do you trust Smith for five more years? Can he lead this team to a Super Bowl? Did the win over New Orleans convince you?
I think with Manning, the 49ers would be the Super Bowl favorites with that defense. Do you feel that way with Smith?
