Am I surprised the 49ers are in the running for Peyton Manning? Not really?
Do I think it will happen? Probably not.
Would I like to see it? Absolutely.
I still think Manning wants to play in the AFC. And I'm not sure Manning and Jim Harbaugh could work together. Then again, Randy Moss wasn't signed to be a spectator on the outside.
But if I'm Manning and a Super Bowl is my objective, there's no better place to end his career than in the scarlet and gold. A Super Bowl is not going to happen in Denver or Tennessee.
