A fundraiser to benefit 'The Stadium' project at old Municipal Stadium will be held March 10 at 5:30 p.m. at the Salinas Sports Complex Exhibition Hall.
Scheduled to speak at the event are 49ers Hall of Famers Steve Young and Ronnie Lott, and Monterey alum and former NFL player and coach Herman Edwards.
The stadium will be the home for Palma and North Salinas football games. The multi-purpose facility will also be used for soccer, as well as youth football games.
There are about 70 seats left for the event. Tickets are $150. Call 775-3100 or go to sdavistaylorfarms.com
