What was impressive about Colby Genasci's no-hitter on Tuesday for Salinas was his command of pitches.
The right-hander wasn't overpowering, finishing with four strikeouts. But he jumped ahead in a lot of counts and induced San Benito to swing the bats.
Genasci's no-hitter took less than 90 minutes, unheard of in high school baseball. It was the first of his career at any level.
