Last year at this time we were talking about Salinas chasing a CCS Division I title.
This year the Cowboys aren't a part of the conversation.
Why?
The only team with a better overall record then No. 5 seed Salinas (19-5) in the Division I playoffs is No. 2 Piedmont Hills (25-2).
There's no pressure on the Cowboys this year. And Salinas might be playing its best basketball, riding into the postseason party with a five-game winning streak.
