North Salinas' fourth quarter rally to beat Watsonville in the Division I playoffs gives an indication of perhaps how strong the Tri-County Athletic League is.
Five teams from the TCAL made the postseason. All five are still alive.
Of the 13 losses North Salinas suffered this year, 12 of those setbacks came from teams that reached the playoffs.
Yeah, it took a compiling argument from Palma coach and TCAL rep Paul Alioto to get the Vikings in the postseason party.
But it sure looks good now.
