Monterey boys hoops

 What went wrong with Monterey?
 For the fourth straight year, it went out in the first round of the Division III playoffs.
 No doubt, this playoff drought was on the minds of the seniors, who have lived through it.
 You could see it in their faces in the second half when Burlingame began to heat up from the outside -- almost like 'not again'.
 Burlingame was good. It was disciplined. It forced the Dores to play a different style.
  I don't blame Monterey coach Greg Daniels for telling me he didn't want to look at the film. It's the same storyline.
