Prior to closing the regular season with a must win, the Otters were limping down the stretch with three straight losses, finishing in a three-way tie for second in the CCAA.
Injuries cost the Otters two starters earlier this year. There are two others that have not practiced during the week most of the season. Depth is an issue.
Then again this program has been in this position before. And it has excelled. This is a team that knows how to turn it up a notch in the postseason.
