Palma's Ryan Sarmiento (184 pounds) and Hidelv Manzur (HVT) are both seeded No. 1 going into this weekends Central Coast Section wrestling championships.
As a team, Palma is ranked third in the section behind Gilroy and St. Francis. There are no divisions in wrestling.
Earning No. 2 seeds are Keaton Klockow of Pacific Grove (197), Jovan Villalobos of Alisal (154) and Luis Quintero of King City (147).
Seeded No. 3 includes Hunter Rehbein of Palma (108), Oscar Mendez of Alisal (160), Kodiak Sauer of Carmel (184) and Jonathan Tuiolosega of Seaside (HVY).
The top three in each weight class advance to the state championships.
