I'm going to ask the question again?
How does a nationally ranked soccer program that's unbeaten this year, with two wins against two soccer powers - get a No. 5 seed in the Division I playoffs instead of a No. 1?
Alisal answered with a 4-0 win over Sequoia in the first round.
Granted Division I is stacked. And the TCAL is not looked upon as a soccer power. But no one else is nationally ranked in Division I.
And it's not like Alisal hasn't been here before, capturing a CCS Division I title in 2010. Then again, seeding in soccer means little.
Just ask Gonzales. It won a CCS Division III title as the last seed in 2007.

Not true my friend. Watsonville is nationally ranked as well.
