That theory that one player can put a team on their shoulders in basketball isn't holding true at North County.
Priscila Mora is averaging a county high 22 points a game. She's pulling down 19.3 rebounds a game. The 5-foot-10 senior leads the Condors in assists, blocks and steals.
Yet, North County is just 1-6 going into tonight's battle with 5-1 Soquel. Perhaps cutting one of its leading scorers from last year for undisclosed reasons wasn't a good move.

Yes Basketball is ateam Game. I am sure NMC willright the ship. 1st I have heard of cutting a returning player. If the reasaons are not disclosed, I choose to trust the coach has a reason and is protecting the program and the player.
