Final football grades XXI

Seaside (2-8)
 Growing pains were expected from a program that started just two seniors most of the season.
 A 2-8 record was not.
 To a degree, the Spartans underachieved this year. They were their own worst enemy in three of their first four losses.
 Seaside never recovered from an 0-3 start in missing the playoffs for the first time in eight years.
 Seaside's absence from the postseason will be brief. Its leading receiver was a sophomore. Its top rusher is coming back along with the quarterback and its two best linemen.
 The mistakes made on the field this fall will be in the rear view mirror next season. Final grade: C minus.
