Magical.
That's how I would describe the Mustangs record breaking season, which brought them a share of the Monterey Bay League title and first ever 10-win season.
Monte Vista's rise to a title wasn't a surprise. It opened the season with eight consecutive wins behind quarterback Taylor Cohan and receiver Austin Daich.
The offense was explosive. The defense was dominating, holding eight teams to a touchdown or less. Seven starters went both ways. Final grade: A
