Final football grades X

King City (5-4-1)
 At the mid-point of the season, the Mustangs were struggling for a passing grade, having started the year a disappointing 0-3-1.
 What followed was a 5-1 finish, in which King City averaged 42.5 points a game.
 Where was this in the beginning? Especially in a 16-8 loss to Greenfield -- a team King City beat 42-7  eight weeks later in its season finale.
 Slow starts have been a tradition in south county. That's got to be eliminated if King City wants to sniff the playoffs again. Final grade: B minus.
