Monterey's best start in girls soccer since 2002 can be attributed to freshman Aida Mora, who has eight goals in the teams first seven matches.
 The Toreadores three wins equals their total from the previous two years combined. The 12 team goals is two more than all of last year.
 Mora, who has assisted on two goals, has scored in five of the teams seven matches, recording the hat trick against Pajaro Valley.
