Chemistry doesn't come with just a couple of practices. Five players from the CCS champion football team arrived six weeks late.
 I don't expect Palma to hit its stride until the start of TCAL play, which is when it really matters. That being said, it gave nationally ranked Mitty a fight in its first game with the core intact.
 Noah Allen will be hard to slow down this year. Once the leash was taken off last winter, the 6-foot-6 guard averaged over 18 points a game in the second half of the season.
 Allen is a treat to watch.
 Allen was one of four sophomores from last year's team that are back. Jack Powers is a 260-pound force in the paint while Jack Tardieu provides Palma with another shooter on the perimeter.
