The Grizzlies won just three games last year. All three came against North County. A season opening win over King City came 30 days sooner than last year's first win.
Still this is a program that will endure a few growing pains with no seniors. One freshman and two sophomores help fill out the roster. Junior center Noah Treanor provides a presence in the paint.
Three years ago this team knocked down a school record 283 3-point goals in reaching the playoffs with 19 wins. Since then Pajaro Valley has gone 11-36.
