If the season ended today, the projected Division III bowl bid from Northern California would be Cardinal Newman — which Palma played to a 10-10 tie in Week 3.
Palma is not ranked in Division III by ESPNHS Cal-Hi Sports because it was assumed it will compete in the CCS Open Division playoffs.
We'll see.
Palma is ranked sixth in Northern California in Division I. Bellarmine is ranked No. 2 behind De La Salle. Unbeaten Carmel is ranked No. 7 in Division III, behind five schools that are still undefeated.
