Remember when some of you were calling this the worst Salinas team in 15 years?
Haven't heard from you lately.
Yeah, that was a rough stretch when Salinas dropped home games to Carmel, Palma and San Benito -- who are a combined 25-3-2.
Since then the Cowboys have rattled off four in a row. I realize all four teams don't have .500 records.
However, Alisal and Gilroy would be in the playoffs had both beaten Salinas.
If Serra wasn't in Division I, this would be a wide-open division.
