How did North County get thrown into the mix and pushed into the MBL's 'A' division?
Speculation leading up to Tuesday's meeting had Seaside or Monte Vista being the third team to be pushed into the 'A' division along with Christopher and Monterey.
The Condors finished 5-5 last year, were outscored 179-127 and are losing the best player in the old MBL to graduation.
In addition, I only counted 15 returning players.
Are we forcing the Condors up based on their past?

Probably because of their undefeated league JV record. I am sure they took that into consideration.
I can think of two lower level teams from other schools that have excelled in the last two years, yet it didn't transpire to success at the varsity level.
Its a travesty what happened last night at the Equity League Meeting and I personally CAN NOT wait until Dec 6th to hear some coaches official reaction as to what really happened last night..
To Force NMC and Monterey up was ridiculous... Yea I said it !!! anybody else who thinks otherwise is bias to their school..
I think the results make perfect sense for the initial set up. You can't base this on a recent spike in success for some of the smaller programs. You need to take into consideration historical performance. NMC was the right 3rd choice.
Also, stating that Lopez is the best player in the MBL is way off, not even close. I've seen 10 MBL games this year.
not only is mike lopez the best player in the mbl over the past 2 or 3 years he is in top 5 in the county. plays everywhere on the field scores from all positions on the field
