The first CIF Northern California bowl rankings has Palma No. 7 in Division I. Defending Open Division state champion De La Salle is ranked No. 1.
Defending CCS Open Division champion and Division I state champion Palo Alto is ranked No. 5. The only other CCS team ranked ahead of Palma is Bellarmine at No. 4.
Monterey earned a No. 9 ranking in Division III with Carmel receiving an honorable mention slot. Haven't the Padres beaten Monterey the last two years?
