Marc Flores has a few major league scouts eyeing him after he tore up pitching this summer playing on a summer collegiate team, hitting .363 for the San Luis Obispo Rattlers.
The 6-foot-5, 18-year-old had 61 hits - 22 for extra base hits - in 45 games. The left-handed hitting Flores drove in 38 runs, scored 34, ripped 14 doubles, five triples and three home runs.
Flores, a former three-sport standout at King City, who will be a
sophomore at Hartnell College this year, led the Rattlers in eight
offensive categories while playing flawless at first base.
