 We clearly saw enough at the Carmel 7-on-7 passing tournament to believe King City can be an elite team in the Mission Trail Athletic League and make a playoff push.
 Quarterback Branson Umbarger has one of the better arms in the league. And he's athletic. The receiving core is talented.
 Of course, will King City branch off from its tradition of being a grind out offense and put the ball in the air -- say, 40 percent of the time?
