Hartnell College pitcher Michael Jensen is weighing a sweetened offer from the Chicago Cubs.
The right-hander, who has a scholarship to USC, could make a decision by the weekend.
Last year Jensen's fastball was clocked in the low 90's, as he compiled a 2.00 earned run average with 61 strikeouts in 68 innings for the Panthers.
