Linebacker Takeo Spikes is not a big loss for the 49ers.
He reminded me of Ken Norton Jr. towards the end of his career. Spikes, 34, was more mouth than play. Meaning, he wasn't backing it up on the field.
Quarterback Alex Smith is your best option for this franchise. He's the only one that knows this offense. I want to see him with an offensive minded coach calling the shots.
