Seaside football

I'm a little confused about one avid reader suggesting Seaside is being disrespected because The Blog has tapped them to finish second in the Monterey Bay League.
The last time I checked, finishing second meant a trip to the playoffs.
It's not going to be that simple replacing a three-year starting quarterback that broke nearly every passing record at Seaside.
And if Seaside ends up moving the county's best receiver behind center, that's another hole to fill.
Of course, what Seaside is never short on is athletes.
