Michael Lopez

I agree with Joey on his comments.
Michael Lopez will be one of the more exciting players to watch this fall for North County.
He is someone that could score touchdowns on punts, kickoffs, receiving, rushing and defensively.
He is one of two seniors this year that have been a member of The Herald's All-County football team two straight years.
My question is there a support system to spring Lopez? Graduation stripped the Condors. Someone has to open that hole for Lopez to squirt through 10 to 15 times a game.

I really believe that he is a great football player... but i have a hard time believing he is the best in the area. It will also be hard to prove he is the best because NMC lost a lot of key parts to their team. The fact that a coaching change has come so late only adds to the adversity. I really agree with Devine, it will be hard for Lopez to show what he is capable of without players around him. (much like reggie topps in 2006)

ya they lost some to grad but they have a great recieving crew. they have all played varsity since they were sophmores. wouldnt surprise me if nmc won the mbl this year. if senior qb leo martinez can lead them. should be a good season in the mbl. name a greater play maker in monterey county in all 3 aspects of the game than mike lopez.
