Monterey junior Stephen Dorsey finished seventh overall Saturday in the high jump at the state track and field championships in Clovis, going out under rainy conditions at 6-feet-7.
Only four jumpers cleared 6-7 Saturday. But Dorsey slipped to seventh based on misses at 6-3 and 6-5. He came in with a career best of 6-9.
