Gordon, who missed most of last season with an injury, was ranked 41 out of 129 free safeties eligible for the 2012 NFL draft.
Gordon, The Herald's Male Athlete of the Year from Seaside in 2008, is transferring to a Division II school, most likely so he won't have to sit out a season.

I heard he transferred because he got into "trouble" at sac state. He has to work on his character before he can worry about the NFL. NFL scouts can look at this as a huge flaw in Gordon.
